From 2009 – 2016, the official URL for my online portfolio was ThomasHubbard.net. Several elements of this website relied on Flash Player, a free plugin for web browsers that enabled animation, video, audio, and other interactive and multimedia content. ThomasHubbard.net was taken offline before Adobe announced the end of life for Flash Player in July 2017, and before all major browsers began removing native support for Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface (NPAPI) and Pepper Plugin API (PPAPI) plugins. The popularity of Flash was on the decline, which meant my website would need to be revamped to keep pace with current trends.
On March 2, 2020, I acquired ThomasHubbard.com via an expired domains auction. Development of the new website began in late 2021, but took a back seat to more critical initiatives. ThomasHubbard.net has since been parked in my domain portfolio, strengthening my broader asset and brand protection efforts. All traffic for my online portfolio is now being redirected to ThomasHubbard.com
